Business Analyst (.NET Domain) | Warsaw

TechTree's client is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a long-term enterprise IT programme supporting a major EU agency in Warsaw.

You'll work at the intersection of business processes, enterprise systems, data and software delivery, partnering closely with stakeholders, product owners and a development team of 10+ engineers.

The role

You'll act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, translating complex business needs into structured requirements and helping improve enterprise processes and system integrations.

The wider programme covers systems across areas including HR, asset management, finance and grant-agreement management.

What you'll do

  • Elicit, analyse and document business requirements and user stories
  • Model business processes, value chains, roles, capabilities and data
  • Translate stakeholder needs into clear business requirements specifications
  • Work alongside product owners throughout requirements definition
  • Manage requirements across the full systems-development lifecycle
  • Support solution design, testing, QA and change-management activities
  • Model processes using BPMN and UML
  • Design, validate and test improved business processes
  • Support enterprise system and data-platform integrations
  • Conduct cost-benefit and what-if analyses
  • Develop transition roadmaps and support organisational change
  • Help establish performance-monitoring systems
  • Communicate project scope, requirements and objectives across technical and non-technical stakeholders

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of overall IT experience
  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience
  • At least 3 years as a BA on a large-scale system, working with a development team of 10+ engineers
  • Strong SQL and data-analysis skills
  • Experience with enterprise information systems and system integrations
  • Strong knowledge of BPMN and UML
  • Level 6 education or equivalent
  • C1-level English
  • At least 2 recognised BA/modelling certifications, including:

    • CBAP or equivalent
    • Certified UML Professional — Foundation or equivalent
    • BPM2 Fundamental or equivalent
