Supply Operations Poland | Berlin
TechTree's client is hiring a Supply Operations Poland professional to grow its Polish supplier network within the European recycled materials market.
Despite the title, this is a highly commercial role. You'll spend much of your time speaking directly with suppliers, negotiating price and terms, converting opportunities, and helping drive revenue.
- Location: Berlin, Germany
- Work model: Hybrid — around 3 days/week in the office
- Employment: Full-time
- Compensation: €60,000–€70,000 + equity
- Experience: Typically 2–6 years
- Market: Poland
What you'll own
- Grow and activate the company's network of Polish suppliers
- Contact recyclers and suppliers directly through phone, email, and messaging
- Convert existing and new supplier leads into active commercial relationships
- Negotiate pricing, volumes, quality, and commercial terms
- Match available materials with customer demand
- Own supplier cooperation across key accounts and projects
- Work closely with the Sales team to support revenue growth
- Visit suppliers and relevant industry events when needed
- Bring market insights back into internal processes and operations
What we're looking for
- Native Polish and professional English
- Hands-on experience in a commercial role involving external stakeholders
- Confidence with cold outreach, negotiation, and closing
- Experience owning a sales quota, purchasing target, revenue target, margin, or similar commercial KPI
- Comfortable personally doing the outreach rather than managing it from a distance
- High ownership, initiative, and comfort working in an early-stage environment
- Based in Berlin or genuinely open to relocating
- Comfortable working from the Berlin office around 3 days per week
Strong advantages
- Startup, scale-up, or owner-led SME experience
- Purchasing, sourcing, procurement, sales, or commercial operations experience
- Exposure to physical goods, commodities, plastics, chemicals, packaging, metals, recycling, manufacturing, or industrial products
- Evidence of high agency outside work — such as building a business, community, organisation, or side project
- German or additional Slavic/Baltic languages
Why consider this opportunity?
- Direct ownership of an important European market
- Commercial impact visible from the first months
- Early-stage environment with significant autonomy
- Work closely with the founding and commercial teams
- Base salary plus meaningful equity
- Opportunity to help scale a fast-growing sustainable materials business
